Jazzing up a simple blue jumpsuit with gold accessories

Blue jumpsuit

I don’t have many jumpsuits. Actually, I only have two – this blue jumpsuit and a colourful one I wore on the blog a couple of years ago. I really ought to buy a few more. Not only are they flattering and perfect for the intense summer heat here in the Algarve, they’re also very comfortable. This blue jumpsuit particularly so.

Bargain

Would you believe I bought it from Primark in the sale, no less? It was only about 5 euros a few months ago. I had intended just to wear it around the house. Then I had one of those light bulb moments (!) where I realised it would look good with a belt and some heels. The belt also came from Primark a few years ago and I’ve never actually worn it.

Replay shoes

Blue jumpsuit - Replay shoes

These gorgeous cream shoes were my first pair of ‘designer’ shoes – well, I considered them to be designer at the time. They’re from Replay and I’ve had them at least ten years. Hubby bought them for me when we visited Gibraltar. They’re still like new – probably because, being wooden, they’re difficult to wear out (not to mention difficult to drive in!). I also chose to use my favourite gold Massimo Dutti clutch as well as a couple of gold bracelets and this cute gold ring (gifts).

Necklace

This is the outfit I wore to our pals place for dinner (they literally live across the road from us so minimal walking). I wore the necklace for about an hour before I had to take it off because it was pinching the back of my neck. It was inherited from hubby’s stepmother and this was the first time I’ve ever worn it. Bummer really, because it’s really pretty. I wonder if there’s anything I can do to make it more comfortable? Any ideas?

Blue jumpsuit or PJs

Speaking of hubby, when I first put the blue jumpsuit on, he did comment that it looked a little like pyjamas. But as soon as I jazzed it up with the jewellery and heels, he changed his tune. (Not that it would have made a difference – I’d have worn it regardless!).

Favourite blurred photo

My favourite photo that hubby took of me is completely blurred. But perhaps that’s why it’s my favourite photo lol! I was laughing so the blurriness hides the wrinkles 😉
