The Good Buy / Good-Bye Book: This month it's all about boots

What is The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book?

It is a monthly series that Nancy from Nancy’s Fashion Style and Shelbee from Shelbee on the Edge publish on their blogs on the 15th of each month. This month it’s all about boots which are one of my absolute favourite items in my wardrobe!

My Good Buy

I chose to feature a Good Buy, because I literally have a pair of boots that were the best pair of boots I ever bought. I’ve had them quite a few years now and how I got them is a bit of a funny story…
I had been on the look out for a pair of tan or brown boots but was struggling to find exactly the right pair. Then I happened to spot somebody wearing these boots online. So my search began. I literally looked everywhere but nobody had them. Eventually I ended up on the German Amazon website where I was absolutely delighted to find them in stock and in my size. I had to ask a German friend to translate the page for me though!

When they arrived in the mail, I couldn’t get them out of the box quick enough. And the second I slipped my feet into them, it was like an angel was sighing (ok, maybe that’s a bit too melodramatic lol). Seriously though, these boots have been incredibly comfortable right from the start. I will be devastated when they eventually wear out. They were such a good buy. Funnily enough, I’ve never bought any other Timberland boots although hubby just bought a pair. When they start to show signs of wear though, I will start searching again!
