Red Skechers: another pair of trainers to add to my collection

A few weeks ago, hubby and I spent the morning at Mar Shopping in Faro. I hadn’t planned on buying anything (!) but came away with these fabulous retro red Skechers. It was quite funny because when we entered the shop, I immediately gravitated towards two pairs of super sparkly shoes. I was very tempted until hubby steered me towards these instead. He insisted I’d get way more wear out of the red Skechers rather than the sparkly ones, so I caved in and got these lol. Hubby also bought a pair in the same retro style. I think he may have been right though. I will wear these an awful lot over the next few years, I’m sure of it.

You’re probably thinking, ‘another pair of trainers?’ Well, since getting rid of most of my heel collection, I’m working at developing my trainer collection instead he he he. And I must say, it’s going well 😉

My outfit

I’ve worn the red Skechers a few times already and they’re super comfy, and you know how I love to be comfortable! On this occasion, I wore my newest pair of skinny Levi’s and a khaki sleeveless shirt (a recent purchase from H&M), alongside one of my favourite red bumbags from Bershka. Oh, and before we left the house I grabbed my Tommy Hilfiger cardigan bought from the US a few years ago. It’s a very simple outfit, but one which gave me confidence and that’s all that matters, right?

The hint of red with the khaki top is such a great colour combination. And you know how obsessed I am with khaki (I wear it all the time). So when I spotted this top in H&M, and there was only one left, I was gutted to find it was a size smaller than I usually take. However, because I loved it so much I just had to try it on… and it was perfect! YAY!
