The great little sewing bee

Sewing-Bee-12Okay so maybe it wasn’t quite as good as the Great British Sewing Bee but we certainly tried. Two friends and I got together to do a bit of sewing and we had a right laugh. I’m not the best ‘sewer’ (that really doesn’t look well written does it?!) in the world but I had a go fixing a few of my clothes. It was Sarah who pulled out all the stops though and altered everything that needed altering. She even made us a fabulous cushion at the same time.

Sewing-Bee-21We started off with tea and cake and eventually made it to white wine… after I cooked a delicious lunch of baked Greek omelette (I’ll share the recipe with you in a later post) – we had a blast, had a bit of a dance too (must’ve been due to the wine… although Christine didn’t even have any )! We had a couple of ‘mascots’ who spent the day in and out of our legs too, my lovely dogs Luna and Roxy 😉

Sarah modelled the remainder of the jumper after it had been made into a cushion 😉
