For the past few years, hubby and I have become much more into organic / bio products – not just food but also beauty products that we use on our skin. So I was delighted to be sent the Yves Rocher concentrated shower gel to try out.
Here’s what Yves Rocher say about their concentrated shower gel:
Thanks to its innovative and sensorial formula, one dose is enough for a shower. The 100ml concentrated shower gel gives you the same number of showers as the classic 400ml shower gel.
By creating less packaging, it contributes more to respect the planet.
Our Botanical Beauty researchers reveal their most recent innovation: a concentrated shower formula in a bottle that is 4 times smaller than a 400ml Shower gel.
With only one dose of formula, its fluid and enveloping texture creates a delicate, abundant foam that gently cleanses the skin.
I must admit, I’m really impressed with the product. It does exactly what it says on the bottle – just one little squirt is enough to wash the entire body! And it creates a really luxurious lather too. I felt very clean and fresh after my shower. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now too and there’s still loads left in the bottle.
Three scents to choose from
There are three different scents to choose from:
My two favourite scents are the Bourbon Vanilla (I’ve always loved the smell of vanilla) and Olive Petitgrain which also smells divine. I’m not so keen on the Mango Coriander scent though because I neither like mango nor coriander ew! Lol! Hubby has also been using the gels and he’s suitably impressed too. Safe to say the scents are definitely suitable for both men and women.
The Yves Rocher Foundation-Institut de France
Not only am I impressed with the Yves Rocher concentrated shower gels, but I also admire what the company stands for. Here’s a brief message from their honorary president:
“The Yves Rocher Foundation-Institut de France was founded over 20 years ago, reflecting a family’s desire to give back some of what we owe to the plant world. Connecting and preserving living organisms, the Yves Rocher Foundation is taking action today to protect our future, thus making a positive footprint on our planet”.
Jacques Rocher, Honorary President of the Yves Rocher Foundation-Institut de France.
I really feel that we should support those companies that work tirelessly to support our future, and our children’s future, by protecting the planet, don’t you? Yves Rocher produce a huge amount of wonderful skincare products. You can find them online here, if you’re in Portugal, and here if you’re in the UK. Plus, their prices are certainly easy on the pocket! These Yves Rocher Concentrated Shower Gels cost only €3.95 per bottle, for example.
By the way, I did consider taking a photo of me using the product but thought better of it 😉
I received these bottles of shower gel from Yves Rocher in exchange for an hones review of the products.
