A new red blouse with khaki combats – a fabulous colour combination

Last week, I showed you my gorgeous new emerald green blouse. This week, it’s exactly the same red blouse. I loved both so much that I just had to buy them both – and, at just 17 euros each, they were a bargain! The moment I tried on the red one, I knew I’d have to wear it with my H&M khaki combats. I just love the colour combination, don’t you? Khaki and red… pure perfection (orange and khaki – even better!).

I bought them both from Stradivarius, which is actually one of my favourite shops. I tend to find quite a few little gems in there. Admittedly, much of their clothes are very out there lol. Especially this season, there’s some seriously weird stuff, but also some utter gorgeousness too. I was there again yesterday (!), and I found two more simple long-sleeved tops in emerald green which I snatched up (and they were only 8 euros each!!).

I love that (finally), my favourite colour – emerald green if you haven’t quite figured that out yet! – is in all the shops. I think I swooned in each and every shop I visited. But I was very well behaved. I only bought the two mentioned above 😉

But back to the red. It’s another colour that I do love to wear. I’m lucky that my skin tone and hair colour really suit bright colours. Red, green, fuschia, purple, blue, yellow, orange – they’re all colours that I love wearing. But put me in beige and, well…. urgh!!! It’s hideous on me. Yuck.

The red Skechers trainers aren’t really the right shade of red, to be honest. They’re much too dark, but because of the khaki in between, I think it looks ok. I think I’d like to buy a pair of brighter red trainers though. Any ideas? I’m also wanting to buy a decent pair of black trainers AND… you’ll never guess what colour I’d like? No clue? LOL. Why green, of course! But I’ll keep you posted about that he he he.

I should probably mention the necklace. Isn’t it absolutely fabulous? I bought it a few years ago and have hardly worn it. It’s one of those necklaces that doesn’t seem to go with that much. Kind of weird, really. Probably because it’s quite bold, if that’s the right word. I wish hubby had told me that it wasn’t sitting in the right position for the photos though (eye roll). Oh well, never mind. It’s still cool, right? And so is my Desigual handbag. Speaking of Desigual, next week I’m finally wearing a top from there that I bought over a year ago!! See you then.

Hugs xx
