Spring is in the air and so it’s time for the white skinny jeans and bright colours to come out from the back of the wardrobe and make an appearance. Okay, okay, so I would’ve worn white jeans through the bleak mid-winter if I’d had the chance but I’m always worried they’ll get dirty! But with such beautiful blue skies here in the Algarve, and promises of warmer weather, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to wear white skinny jeans with two of my favourite colours: blue and pink.
Oasis
I bought this cute pink top in Oasis (as you’re probably becoming aware, my new favourite shop!) in the January sales and finally decided to wear it with my H&M high-waisted white skinny jeans, floral Fila pumps, denim jacket and blue scarf.
Handbag
I bought the handbag last Autumn in a leather shop in Portimao (my nearest big town). I paid about 70 euros for it (the woman told me it was by some special designer) and it was exactly what I was looking for at the time. Unfortunately when I got it home and had a proper look at it, I realised it wasn’t leather! From a leather shop! But because I love it so much, I decided to keep it lol.
My new fringe
On another note, you might notice I have a new hairstyle (again). Growing out my pixie was driving me nuts so I figured a fringe (bangs) might ease the process a little. My stylist suggested I try wearing headbands for a fresher look so I promptly went out and bought several lol. Although I had a fringe when I had longer hair, it’s taking a little getting used to, but I think I like it. It’ll help as my hair grows longer anyway. Are you a fan of bangs? (I love that it’s called bangs in the US!!)

How adorable! There’s just something about crisp white denim jeans and a Jean jacket! These colors just make me feel like spring is in the air and those floral tennies are precious! I also love the wrap in your hair, seriously you look like you’re 25, adorable as can be!

We’re not quite getting that warm weather here yet Suzy, but the look is indeed very spring like. I too, worry about getting white jeans dirty, but the whole look is very fresh on you. Perfect pairing with both baby pink and blue. I like the hairband idea to help with that awkward stage when hair is neither one style nor the other.

I love the shoes!! I wore my pink Converse tennis shoes shopping. I usually only wear them around the house, but decided if i like them, I should take your advice and wear what I want, when I want!
