Staying warm in the winter months is extremely important to me, especially as I get older. Apart from when I’m suffering with hot flushes (!), my feet are usually freezing cold – even here in the Algarve. So imagine my delight when I had the opportunity to try out some fabulous alpaca socks from Perilla.
Perilla very kindly sent me two pairs to try out. A gorgeous pair of pink bed socks and a scrumptious thick pair of brown socks. As soon as I put them on, I realised I had been converted. Alpaca socks are pure luxury on my tootsies. Hubby will be pleased too because I often put my ice cold feet on his legs whilst in bed! I can be a bit mean, I know 😉
Sitting in the living room in front of the TV, and even with a roaring log fire, my feet are often still stone cold. But with these lovely pink bed socks, my toes were actually warm. Snug even! Hubby thought I was a little nuts when I kept going on about them… but I’m so impressed with them. When I find something amazing, I want to share it with the world. So here I am, sharing it with you. Have you tried alpaca socks before? You really should.
The brown socks are super comfortable too – these ones are lovely and thick underfoot which is utter bliss for someone who suffers with painful feet sometimes (bunions….cue sad face). I’m taking both pairs with me on holiday because I just know they’re going to be heaven sent during those really chilly days and nights in the USA!

Isn’t alpaca the best thing ever?! I discovered it last year and have several pairs of alpaca gloves as well as alpaca joggers and a hoodie…lol! I definitely need socks because I’m like you…always freezing, especially my feet.
