This month, the Fab40s are going dotty about polka dots!

I can’t believe it’s the last Monday of the year. And in a few days, we’ll be in a whole new decade! The 2020s! It’s almost surreal! But because it’s the last Monday of the month, it’s also time for the Fab40s. On a sad note though, it’s Jennie’s very last Fab40s post 🙁 (Jennie left her 40s behind this year). But because she’s leaving, we wanted to make sure she left on a high, so she got to choose the theme again. And, because Jennie’s blog is called A Pocketful of Polka Dots, she very aptly chose Polka Dots as our theme!

I’ve always LOVED polka dots. Anything covered in polka dots is usually fun, a little sophisticated and just, well…. pretty, right? I didn’t actually have any idea what to wear for today’s theme, but then, during our recent holiday, I received this stunning polka dots handbag from mother-in-law. Isn’t it cute? And a few days later, I bought this very pretty sweater from Roman which just happens to have a few polka dots on it. Result! The necklace and the ring were also gifts from mother-in-law.

The red H&M skirt seemed like the perfect addition to the outfit, as were the black suede (super comfortable) pumps from Calla Shoes. All in all, it was exactly the right outfit for our Danish Christmas Eve celebrations with our close friends and neighbours. There was dancing (hence the shoes), singing, fun and games, lots of presents, delicious food and plenty of drinks! We had such a wonderful and memorable evening.

OMG just look at Shelbee! Even though she was clearly inundated with snow and freezing cold weather, Shelbee has still managed to create the most beautiful polka dots outfit. The maxi dress is just stunning, and I must admit I love the little hint of fuschia! I hope you’re warm now, Shelbee lol!! <3

As always, Daenel is wearing EXACTLY my kinda outfit. This is something I would wear in a heartbeat. And, even though I would never have thought to wear grey tights with a yellow dress, I absolutely LOVE it! What a brilliant combination. And those clogs are just FAB!

I actually had a scarf in the exact same colour and print but I gave it away because it doesn’t do me justice. Anna, however, looks simply gorgeous in this colour.
