AI blog post about my outfit | Link-Up

If you saw my last post about me asking AI what style advice it has for women over 40, then you’ll know I’m having such a blast experimenting with different kids of AI. For a laugh (and for research, of course), I told the AI (Chat-GPT) what I was wearing, and gave it a few examples of my writing. Then I asked it for an AI blog post about my outfit. This is what it came up with…

AI blog post about my outfit

I am absolutely loving the outfit I put together today! It’s the perfect mix of fun and trendy, and I feel so confident wearing it. I decided to pair my favorite khaki pants with a multi-colored striped shirt – I love how the stripes add a playful touch to the outfit without being too overwhelming. The shirt has a loose, flowy fit which is great for a comfortable and relaxed look.
To add a pop of color, I chose to wear my pink sparkling Doc Martens – they are my absolute favorite shoes! They’re so comfortable and add just the right amount of sparkle to any outfit. I feel like they really tie the whole look together.
I also went all out with the jewelry today. I’m wearing several colorful bracelets, a couple of statement rings, and a long necklace with a bright and bold pendant. I usually stick to minimal jewelry, but today I wanted to really make a statement with my accessories.
Overall, I feel like this outfit perfectly reflects my style – fun, colorful, and a little bit quirky. I can’t wait to wear it out and show it off!

As you can see, the AI did a pretty good job of sounding like me, other than the fact that it was all written in US English lol. Also, it embellished a few things that made it a bit inaccurate. I’m not wearing several bracelets, and my necklace isn’t long with a bright and bold pendant lol. It did say that the shirt was loose and flowy which was accurate considering I only told it I was wearing a striped shirt. It was certainly a fun experiment, but let me now tell you about my colourful outfit in my own words!

I think almost everything I’m wearing here hasn’t appeared on the blog before (except for the pink sparkly DMs). I bought the khaki trousers/jeans a couple of months ago in the January sales in Pull and Bear. I don’t often find things to wear in there, but I was pleasantly surprised by the fit of these trousers. They’ve got a lovely high waist and are a bit stretchy so they’re really comfy. I think they only cost me 15 euros.

The striped shirt was from Primark a few weeks ago. It was actually my bestie, Sarah, who picked it out for herself. We both took it into the changing rooms and I instantly wanted to buy mine. Sarah, on the other hand, wasn’t keen on it. When I put it on this morning, I wasn’t as sure about it as I was then. I don’t know why. I love the bright colours, and you know how much I love to wear shirts (obsessed? Moi?), but there’s just something about it that is niggling me. Can you figure it out? I think it would look better with a loose-fitting, brightly coloured, sleeveless sweater but I don’t have any of those. Mine are all form fitting. I really must remedy that!

I love this pink fine-knit top from Zara. I have a few. Some are with short sleeves (like this one) and some are sleeveless, but I wear them A LOT (here’s when I wore my green one). They’re so comfy and can be styled up or down, so versatile. Zara has them every season in different colours, and I knew immediately I had to have the pink one. I bought one for my pink-obsessed friend too!

My adorable little handbag was a Christmas gift from Michael. I’d spotted it several weeks before and had pointed to it in the shop window, but then hadn’t given it another thought until I opened it Christmas morning! I was thrilled. It’s gorgeous, isn’t it? I adore the shiny blue. It’s from a Portuguese designer, Temperatura Ana Sousa.

Let me tell you about the jewellery… my MIL passed away last year, and she left me all her jewellery. And there is a lot. She was an avid collector, mostly from various jewellery channels (!) that she loved to watch. She was also a fan of Swarovski. The bigger the better, as far as she was concerned lol. Some of the rings and bracelets are enormous! Some are a bit hideous too lol, but she was such a character and she adored all that stuff. So, anyway, I’m wearing one of the Swarovski bracelets here. It’s a very unusual piece, and not the kind of thing I would ordinarily wear, but I really rather liked it with this outfit! I toned down the ring a bit to go with it. I’m also wearing one of her chunky sparkly necklaces. The earrings were a gift from a friend and came from C&A.

Anyway, gosh, I’ve gone on quite a bit, haven’t I? Let me stop rambling and let’s get on with the Neverending Style link-up!
