This was one of those outfits that was totally last minute. I had absolutely no idea what I was going to wear out to dinner with friends. Then I put on this black lace top and the rest just sort of happened. I must admit, I think it’s one of my favourite summer outfits this year! I do love a bit of bling and that’s probably why it appeals to me so much.
The bit of bling comes in the form of my gorgeous silver sequinned handbag (a gift from a lovely friend a few years ago). Add to that, the old silver earrings and silver sandals and I felt like I was dressed perfectly for our dinner at a five star hotel.
Oooh, I almost forgot to mention the silver bracelet. An extra bit of bling which was a gift from my mother-in-law several years ago. Pretty, isn’t it? I should also mention the sparkly nail polish – I can’t resist a bit of sparkle either lol!
The white trousers were from Quebramar in last summer’s sales. I’ve worn them a few times on the blog because they’re perfect summer wear. The black lace top was from H&M and this was the first time I’ve ever worn it. I love that it’s off-the-shoulder, don’t you?
