Embracing Authenticity

Hello my lovely friends. Sorry I’ve been AWOL for a little while. I had intended to post early this week but came down with Michael’s ‘man flu’ lol. OMG IU’ve been feeling absolutely dreadful. Today though, I want to talk about a topic that’s been on my mind lately: authenticity. You know, that beautiful quality of being true to yourself, no matter what the world throws at you.

Recently, I stumbled upon a comment on social media claiming that authenticity is out. Can you believe it? I mean, really? As someone who’s been around the block a few times (hello, 40+ club!), I can tell you one thing: authenticity is not only in, but it’s here to stay.

In fact, I was so fired up by this ridiculous notion that I decided to make a video response. Picture this: recovering from the flu, but still determined to clear out my wardrobe and make space for what truly matters. Because let’s face it, authenticity isn’t just about being real on the surface; it’s about digging deep and living in alignment with our values, even when it’s not easy.

So, in my latest video (which you’ll find below), I dive into the messy, beautiful journey of decluttering my wardrobe while recovering from the flu. It’s raw, it’s real, and it’s a reminder that authenticity isn’t just a buzzword – it’s a way of life. I’ve sped up a lot of the actual clearing out footage because it would’ve been almost two hours long lol. But I shared anything of real interest!

As we navigate the ups and downs of life, let’s remember that authenticity is completely and utterly our very own superpower. It’s what sets us apart, connects us to others, and lights up the path ahead. So here’s to embracing our true selves, flaws and all, because that’s where true magic happens, right?

Check out my video below and let’s keep the conversation going. How do you stay true to yourself in a world that sometimes feels anything but authentic? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
