Do you have a few items that you just love to wear when the weather starts to warm up? I do, and they comprise one of my favourite outfits right now. It’s a super simple look, but one that I can just throw on without giving much thought if I’m in a hurry.
The look includes my super comfortable khaki culotte jeans which I adore. Seriously…I wear them to death all throughout the summer because they’re loose enough to keep me cool when it gets too hot and they’re perfect for leg coverage, especially when my pins haven’t got much colour. Currently, my legs are so white they’re practically translucent! I know, I know…the only way I’ll ever get them tanned, is if I actually get them out lol! Soon…soon.
I love wearing this style of top in the summer too, although when it gets too hot, I swap it out for a vest (tank) because the collar can be a tad warm. But I love how loose it is. It’s comfy, hides a multitude of sins and if I want to look a bit smarter, I’ll just do a half tuck at the front.
The sandals are from Timberland, and I bought them from Barcelona a couple of years ago. They’re simply comfortable, stylish and well… perfect. I’ve got my eye on a pair in khaki at the moment! The handbag was a recent purchase from Parfois. And both the sandals and the bag have been on the blog a lot lately…what can I say? They’re part of many current favourite outfits lol.
We took these quick photos by the water at Ferragudo. I realise we didn’t pick the best spot, but I was trying to avoid Michael walking on the sand…he can be a bit funny about that sometimes lol (especially if he’s wearing a pair of trainers he particularly loves or if we’re in his car. God forbid we get sand in his carpets!!).
But that’s it for me this week. We only took a few pics to give you a quick look at one of my favourite outfits, and of course the prettiness of Ferragudo village and the waterside. We weren’t actually doing much that day, we’d just popped out to Lidl to get a few bits. We especially love Lidl’s sourdough bread. It’s yummy! They do really good organic veg too…oh, and some delicious vegan ice cream! Do you ever shop there? Are there any vegan goodies you recommend?
