A green and black top and my new camera

Sorry I didn’t get the chance to post earlier this week. Time just seems to be moving so fast at the moment and I guess I’ve just been a busy little bee lol. I actually had a bit of a social life last week YAY! Not only did I go out for lunch for a wonderful new friend on Friday, but I also had an evening with a few other fabulous girlfriends on Saturday (when I wore this green and black top). I’ve been having lots and lots of laughs which are the best, right?

I’ve also got the most amazing new camera, which is what is taking up a lot of my time at the moment (learning how to use it, that is lol!). It’s an absolute beast of a machine! I’ve gone from having an entry level Nikon to having a professional one and it’s quite complicated to get the hang of. Not only that, but my remote control doesn’t work with it so I either have to use the Snapbridge app or the Intervalometer.

Before I went over to my neighbour’s for our girl’s night in on Saturday, I had a very quick go using the intervalometer to take these photos. Most of them are out of focus, and I didn’t have time to re-do them, so I’ll just share a few here anyway. I’m sure you won’t mind lol. It’s not the crappy photos (!) with the weird poses I want to show you, but the outfit anyway lol!

I adore this green and black top, which was a Christmas present from my in-laws. It’s incredibly comfortable, and just happens to be in my favourite colour. This is actually the first time I’ve worn it but I’m sure it’s going to get worn to death! Although the weather is so peculiar at the moment, I’m not sure it’s warm enough to wear in the evening again. Considering it’s almost July, it’s been so cold. I’ve actually been wearing a jumper and socks in the evening whilst watching the telly. So weird 🙁

Anyway, the past couple of days I’ve been working on my photography art, which is both fun and frustrating, because my ‘photoshop’ skills aren’t as good as I wish they were. So I’ve been watching lots of tutorials and practising. I’m getting there exceedingly slowly, but still…it’s happening lol. I’ve decided to post my photography art to my other blog though, so if you are interested, please follow me over there at www.suzyturner.com (also on Instagram as suzyturner).

Hopefully, I’ll be back with decent photos again on Friday, provided I’ve worked out the focus by then lol! If not, it might well be another epic style moments on screen post LOL. Watch this space!
