Comfort is very important to me, and so is style. Add to that mix, luxury and heritage, and you’ve got Morlands (Glastonbury) Limited, a company that produces the most comfortable slippers and boots. I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to try out one of their products and, being a real girlie girl, I opted for the leopard print ballerina slippers with a pink trim:

When my slippers arrived in the post (super quick, I might add), I must admit to being very impressed with their packaging. Beautifully presented in individual bags, they even have their own shoe horn!

Before putting these lovely slippers on my tired tootsies, I waited a few days for the heat to die down (it’s been seriously hot here in the Algarve recently). I wasn’t at all disappointed. Talk about comfortable! My feet are almost sighing in heaven as I write (yes, I’m wearing them right now), snug as a bug in a rug (I had to include that line). I don’t think I’ve ever had such comfy slippers before! Michael even commented that they don’t really look like slippers 🙂

Morlands (Glastonbury) Ltd
Morlands (Glastonbury) Ltd is very proud of its heritage – and so it should be. Nearly 150 years of taking exceptional care in producing such renowned products, the company continues to go from strength to strength. In 1825, Cyrus Clarke started out making sheepskin slippers using offcuts from the Clarks factory in Street, Somerset. The firm moved to larger premises in Glastonbury when it outgrew the factory some 45 years later with John Morland.

The Morlands story continues, and we take great care and detail to continue producing the finest sheepskin slippers and sheepskin boots that exude heritage, classic design, exquisite craftsmanship, understated style and quiet luxury, that leave you feeling proud to have chosen Morlands. With Christmas just around the corner (yes, I really did just say that – sorry!), I reckon these slippers would make the most wonderful gift for a loved one, wouldn’t you agree? As I’m sitting here, one of my oldest friends is staying with me for a few days, and she just told me she’s got ‘slipper envy’! A sure sign that most women would be delighted to receive such a fabulous pair of beautifully crafted house shoes 😀
The company makes lots of different styles of slippers, to suit all tastes, so I’d highly recommend you give them a visit to see for yourself. And they’re not just for the ladies, there’s some gorgeous slippers for the man in your life too. Check them out here.
On a final note, whilst taking these photos, attempting to try something different, we came up with this……. LOL! 😉

I love to have something special to wear regarding lounge wear. Every now and then, on goes the satin pj’s and my “best” slippers for a lady of the Manor few hours. Just to feel a little special. These slippers fit the bill. X

LOL!! I love that… I shall have to have a go at being the lady of the manor for a while too – although it’s a bit more difficult being in Portugal. I’d love to return to the UK and buy a proper English house just so I can do that lol!!
