Hey folks! Sorry I haven’t been around much lately, but I’m been crazy busy with a whole new creative venture—one that has seen me sitting in front of my computer for days on end (well, almost!). Only this time, I’ve not been writing, I’ve been playing with design and typography by creating printable wall art and greetings cards. I’ve called this new venture Designed by Suze and you can find it on Etsy. Since starting my book cover design business earlier this year, I’ve been enjoying the creativity so much that I wanted to do something that would appeal to other people as well, not just to authors.
I started creating and uploading my wall art to the Etsy store a little while ago but I didn’t want to promote it until I had at least 100 posters on the site and that happened last week. So I finally launched a week ago. I’m thrilled with the results, and I’m having the best time creatively. I just hope people will love Designed by Suze as much as I do! And over the past week, I’ve also been creating greetings cards—all different kinds. Printable wall art is actually a really affordable way of decorating your walls—perfect if you’re like me, and like to update your decor quite regularly! All you need to do is download the poster (which comes in a variety of different sizes), then either print it at home, or take it somewhere like Staples, for example, to get it printed. Easy peasy! Cool, huh?
I’ve got all kinds of posters in the store, from Christmas decor to cat humour to warm and fuzzy quotes and more are in the planning.
