grey woolly A-line dressIt’s been a week since we returned from our holidays and life continues as normal here in the Algarve. Yesterday we headed out to see my dad for a couple of hours and the weather was lovely mid-morning – azure blue skies and a gentle warming sun. The clouds have since descended though and it’s looking decidedly grey out there. Because it was a little chilly first thing I opted to wear my recent TK-Maxx purchase, a grey woolly A-line dress with my favourite black biker boots. I teamed them with a pair of black thermal tights, denim jacket and a starry-night scarf I picked up in Primark last week. Oh and not to mention the gorgeous black, grey and animal print handbag, my mother-in-law, Jackie, bought for me a year ago.

Grey woolly A-line dress

grey woolly A-line dressI love the shape of this dress. But although I tried to show you the true A-line of the skirt, the photos din’t quite demonstrate it very well. I wore the woolly dress a few times on holiday because it’s lovely and warm and is a great alternative to my trusty jeans (you know how I love my jeans!). Actually, I even wore it with a pair of jeans one night, when it was chilly and we were headed out on foot to the local Indian.

Black biker boots

grey woolly A-line dressIf you’re a regular visitor to my blog, you’ll also know how much I love my black biker boots, They go with practically anything and I love dressing them up or down. They’re so reliable, versatile and super important: comfortable. I’ve worn them with jeans, leggings, pretty lace dresses and more.

Obsession for scarves

grey woolly A-line dressYou’re probably aware that I have bit of a thing for scarves. Michael would say it’s more of an obsession than a thing though! I can’t help it, I just adore them and love the way they make an outfit (not to mention keep me warm). They’re the perfect accessory for the cooler months. I reckon I have about 20 (at least)… and counting. This one was a must-buy. At just 2,50 euros it was a bargain. I often find pretty scarves in Primark and yes they’re super cheap, which made this even more of a bargain. The stars and moons were too cute to resist!

Do you have an accessory you’re obsessed about?

Love it Suzy with the blue printed scarf, this Aline shape is so flattering! I know you mentioned you love your biker boots, I have a pair from Sofft, that I love as they are broken in and super comfortable.
    Lovely look!

No wonder those are your favorite boots, love them! So cute, your scarf has the moons and stars on them, just a beautiful blend to this lovely dress and the denim jacket completes it perfectly! You look adorable as ever!

    • Andrea, you’re just too sweet! Thank you so much <3

  • Beautiful photos again Suzy. I agree with anything cosy at the mo, and grey is one of my favourite winter colours. I’m just having a moment with chunky necklaces. Just discovered you can wear them when your a little titch like me! x

    • LOL Laurie, I didn’t realise you’re ‘a little titch’ he he he. I’d never had realised from your photos. You must know how to dress tall!!
I’m obsessed with grey too, whenever I go shopping, I usually end up with something in that colour. This morning it was yet another grey cardigan lol!

  • Lovely outfit combination and i love the biker boots most especially!

  • Suzy, this is so fabulous! I love the gray A-line dress. I just bought a similar one in black and I know it is going to prove to be quite versatile. Your biker boots have me swooning. And, I, too, have quite the scarf obsession (I should say problem, it’s a big problem as I have well in excess of 100 different scarves!). I could totally see myself wearing a very similar outfit to this. I love it.

Thanks for linking up with me!
