Grey woolly A-line dress with my favourite black biker boots

grey woolly A-line dressIt’s been a week since we returned from our holidays and life continues as normal here in the Algarve. Yesterday we headed out to see my dad for a couple of hours and the weather was lovely mid-morning – azure blue skies and a gentle warming sun. The clouds have since descended though and it’s looking decidedly grey out there. Because it was a little chilly first thing I opted to wear my recent TK-Maxx purchase, a grey woolly A-line dress with my favourite black biker boots. I teamed them with a pair of black thermal tights, denim jacket and a starry-night scarf I picked up in Primark last week. Oh and not to mention the gorgeous black, grey and animal print handbag, my mother-in-law, Jackie, bought for me a year ago.

Grey woolly A-line dress

grey woolly A-line dressI love the shape of this dress. But although I tried to show you the true A-line of the skirt, the photos din’t quite demonstrate it very well. I wore the woolly dress a few times on holiday because it’s lovely and warm and is a great alternative to my trusty jeans (you know how I love my jeans!). Actually, I even wore it with a pair of jeans one night, when it was chilly and we were headed out on foot to the local Indian.

Black biker boots

They’re so reliable, versatile and super important: comfortable. I’ve worn them with jeans, leggings, pretty lace dresses and more.

Obsession for scarves

grey woolly A-line dressYou’re probably aware that I have bit of a thing for scarves. Michael would say it’s more of an obsession than a thing though! I can’t help it, I just adore them and love the way they make an outfit (not to mention keep me warm). They’re the perfect accessory for the cooler months. I reckon I have about 20 (at least)… and counting. This one was a must-buy. At just 2,50 euros it was a bargain. I often find pretty scarves in Primark and yes they’re super cheap, which made this even more of a bargain. The stars and moons were too cute to resist!

Do you have an accessory you’re obsessed about?
