Massimo Dutti and the most comfortable jeans I’ve ever had

Most comfortable jeans ever

I recently bought (another) pair of jeans from Massimo Dutti and they are the most comfortable jeans I’ve ever had. I mean, seriously, they’re like wearing pyjamas. The fabric is so soft and wonderful I could wear them all day! Not only that but I also love the button – isn’t it cute?

With a wide leg and sitting fairly low on the hips, this is one pair of comfortable jeans that will be cherished over the years. However, after seeing these photos, I will admit that they’re not particularly flattering on my backside – or maybe that’s just the style of top I’m wearing? Not sure, but I don’t care. I absolutely love them.

Not only are they absolutely fabulous, but I also bought them in the sales and got them for a snip at €24,99. Comfortable jeans and cheap to boot! Can you tell I’m delighted?

The only problem I had with them was that they were way too long so I had to take them up myself – which isn’t too much of a big deal. I can just about manage that on my sewing machine. I tend to use the simple method of keeping the old hem so it only takes half an hour or so.

On this occasion, we were heading out to the neighbours for a bite to eat so it was quite a casual evening out and I needed comfort. I was also feeling a bit bloated, so I chose this top for it’s ability to hide my muffin top (at least from the front anyway lol)! It’s such a cute, girlie top in a lovely shade of pale pink. I don’t usually suit this shade of pink (I look better in bolder colours) but because the top is quite low cut, I think I can get away with it. I bought it a couple of years ago from Promod.

The cute brown wedge sandals were given to me by a very good friend. She’d bought them and had never worn them! My suede fringed handbag also happens to be from Massimo Dutti (what a surprise, right?!). The BMW watch isn’t exactly mine – I borrowed it from Michael because I love pairing manly watches with girlie things (and this frilly top is certainly girlie). As for the bracelets, the beige leather one was a gift and the other I bought from SecretSales last Christmas. Unfortunately, some of the sparkles have fallen off, which is a bit disappointing.

But back to the jeans. I’ve had a few pairs from Massimo Dutti over the years. Two skinny pairs – a black pair and a dark green pair – I gave away because they weren’t comfortable at all. My other Massimo Dutti jeans (which I featured on Monday when I talked about denim on denim) are also very comfortable. I’ve also recently splashed out on yet another Massimo pair (white flares) which I’m totally in love with but haven’t had the chance to wear yet. They are also incredibly comfortable jeans. Oh… I’ve just remembered another pair that I bought quite recently lol. They’re straight legged and are indigo blue – also from Massimo. Oh dear, I think I might be a little obsessed 😉

I think jeans can be such difficult things to buy to get that perfect fit. I used to buy them from H&M because not only did they seem to fit nicely but they weren’t expensive. However,  the next time I’m on the look out for another pair (although I really don’t need any more considering I currently own some um…. 24 pairs of jeans – yes I’ve just been and counted them all!!), I’ll check out Massimo Dutti first.

Do you have a pair of really comfortable jeans that you can’t live without? Where is your go-to shop for jeans?
