If you’re a regular reader, then you’ll already be aware that I’m a bit obsessed with all things green. I just think it’s the most beautiful colour and I simply cannot get enough of it. I should probably also mention that hubby and I also have a bit of a thing for jackets!
Late last year, I spotted this jacket for sale in Salsa but I neglected to do anything about it because it’s not waterproof. Ridiculous really considering I hardly ever go out in the pouring rain anyway. I can be a bit of a wally sometimes (eye roll). I would drool over the emerald green jacket every time I walked past the store but never went inside to even try it on!
Suddenly, for some strange reason last week, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. So, I went online to see if it was still available and lo and behold… it was! And it was in the sale. So I duly sent a pic to hubby and told him I needed it (!) and a few days later we headed into the store to try it on. It was love at first try lol. And would you believe that it had an additional 20 per cent off that day too? Talk about meant to be, or what?!
I just adore my new Salsa emerald green jacket (I have to keep saying it’s emerald green because it’s my favourite colour in the whole, wide, world LOL! I’m such a big kid, right?). The following day, we took Luna out for a walk, and I wore the jacket. It’s super warm and so comfortable, I wish I’d have bought it sooner. Although then I wouldn’t have got it for less than half price lol!

Anyway, for our little walk out with Luna, we headed to the Odelouca reservoir where we were greeted with the most beautiful, eerie misty view. Isn’t it gorgeous? I do love days like those. As for my outfit, I kept it simple. Just a pair of flared blue jeans, an emerald green (!) long-sleeved top, my gorgeous glittery Doc Martens, Desigual handbag, a necklace from mother-in-law (yes, another one!), and my fabulous new Salsa jacket. I just know I’m going to get a lot of wear out of it!
For now, though, I’m tucked up in my home office working on my books, and I couldn’t be happier! See you soon <3
