New Ecco shoes, a new hairdo and my writing news…

New Ecco shoesThe other day, hubby and I popped into the Algarve Designer Outlet / Mar Shopping /Ikea because I needed to replace a small plastic kitchen bowl that I’d broken recently. We did get the bowl, but we also exited with four more pairs of new Ecco shoes between us! I know, I know. We’ve got a bit of a problem lol. We blame the woman who works in the shop…

She is probably the most lovely shop assistant we’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Every time we go in there, we have such a laugh that we’ve become quite fond of her. She goes out of her way to help us, and always manages to find exactly what we weren’t looking for lol. So, out we walked with four pairs of new Ecco shoes. Two pairs for hubby and two pairs for me.

This is the first pair…

New Ecco shoes

I just adore that they’re basically a hi-top trainer but with pointy toes. Now, if you’re a regular reader, you’ll know I’m a bit obsessed with all things witchy. Well, I saw these black boots and saw a certain witchiness to them. Do you see it? After that, I just HAD to have them lol. The funny thing is, the other pair I bought are the purple version, but low instead of hi-tops. And the purple ones don’t have shiny toes, they’re shiny everywhere else and the toes are matte. Can you be smitten with shoes? Because I am! The other bonus, is that both these pairs of Ecco shoes had 70 per cent discount! Now, do you see why I had to buy them? Add to that, they’re Ecco shoes so they’re super comfy. Can you tell I’m delighted?

New Ecco shoes

New ecco shoesI wore them for the first time a couple of days ago, with a simple black and grey outfit. Grey skinny Levi’s and a top from a year or so ago which I fell in love with due to the lace sleeves. Cute, isn’t it? The black necklace just added an extra witchiness to it lol 😉

My new hairdo

New hairdoNew hairdoBut now to my hair. You might have noticed I look a little different. I bought myself a new hairdryer recently. One with a decent diffuser (my old one disappeared for some reason). I also got some hair mousse and had a go at blow drying / scrunching to create some curls. I’ve done it a few times now – it’s not always a success lol. Sometimes it just looks a total mess but it wasn’t too bad the other day.

Hubby loves it. The first time I tried it, I walked out and his response was ‘Wow’ – and you can’t get much better than that, can you? My neighbour’s 13-year-old daughter also commented that she liked my new hairdo too. And that, coming from a teenager, is saying something! So, you’ll be seeing my crazy curly / wavy hair a lot more from now on lol.

Now I must get back to my writing! It’s going great, by the way. I’ve finished writing a new short novella which will be available exclusively to my email subscribers, and I’ve almost completed a new chick lit novel too. I’ll keep you posted! Have a fabulous week, my friends <3
