I’m shopping for a new winter coat at the moment. Obviously I want something stylish but it must be waterproof – or at least water repellant. An upcoming visit to Wales makes that an absolute essential!
I’ve been keeping an eye out over the past few weeks but haven’t started my ‘mission winter coat’ just yet, so I thought I’d start it online. My first port of call is Massimo Dutti where I’ve spotted at least one rainy day potential. I’m not sure if it’s water repellant enough though so I shall have to pop in-store and find out. Are you all set for the winter? What coat is on your radar this year?

This long double-sided coat isn’t quite what I’m looking for but just had to show you what’s out there if you want to spend €995 from Massimo Dutti. It is beautiful though.

I also started my winter jacket internet research last weekend. 🙂 And though I do also adore Massimo, when it comes to winter clothing, I prefer the specialised brands like: Geox or NorthFace. There are ups and downs to these brands of course: it’s not easy to find less “winter-sporty” clothes and the price-range might be higher but the quality of these jackets is the dealmaker for me. Couple of examples below.

Liuba, I like your thinking! They are gorgeous coats… but I’m struggling to find something that’s girly, stylish AND waterproof. It’s difficult! But I might end up going for something like these. I didn’t know you could post photos in the comments here… it’s fab. Thanks!
