While Michael was cleaning his motorbike the other day, I figured it would be a fun backdrop for an impromptu photoshoot (pretending to be a biker chick!). His sporty BMW is clearly his pride and joy, so I had to be careful though 😉 But, as you can see from his photography skills, his bike is also the only thing he wanted to focus us (no surprise there!) hence me being slightly blurred whenever the bike is in shot!
Last week it still wasn’t quite warm enough to get the t-shirts out and even a long sleeved tee was a bit chilly so I added a bit of extra warmth by teaming it with this soft and cuddly furry tank top in white. I bought it late last year from Bershka, to keep me warm and it certainly did the job. I usually wear it over a flimsy baby blue shirt (also from Bershka) but figured it was a good option with a simple tee-shirt.
As is often the case, I wore it with a pair of semi-skinny jeans, these ones haven’t seen the light of day for about a year though. For some reason, I thought they were too small and, because they don’t have much give in them, uncomfortable. But I tried them on again and they were perfect. Quite comfy too! My Converse All Stars were the perfect shoe to wear with them. I LOVE these sneakers… black and pink has always been one of my favourite colour combinations 🙂 Because it was such a casual outfit, my cross-body skater / surfer chick Mambo handbag was my bag of choice. It’s small, but perfect when you want the hands-free option (I used to have a thing for cross-body bags for this reason alone).
I’d love to know of any other biker wives and fellow bloggers out there! It would be fabulous to connect with you 😀

Brilliant post Suzy, at least as time went on he managed to focus on you – smile.
Boys will be boys…mine likes cars…as a result I even have my own car racing helmet and, believe it or not have also driven on a race track myself!!!

Oh I’m so glad you found me!! It’s so nice ‘meet’ a fellow biker’s wife here on the blogosphere! I never go out on my hubby’s BMW – way too uncomfortable for me. The car. Every. Time. LOL!
I’ll definitely go and link up on your blog. Thanks so much. I shall look forward to reading more about you and your style 😀

I own every excuse in the book to take the car and not the bike (helmet hair is a favourite lol) but I have promised I will get out there a bit more. The weather is starting to turn now though as we move into winter which gives me a whole bunch of new excuses and about 6 months of grace I reckon before the pressure is back on ?
Love your lil prop pretty lady! Perfect backdrop for such a fun and Edgy outfit! That vest looks so soft and I love that you paired it with the converse, can never go wrong with converse! You look adorable!
