I wanted to show you the Massimo Dutti dress that I bought a few months ago and I had intended to take some photos before we went out for dinner. However I took too long in the bath and it so was dark by the time we went out. So, when we got back from the Chinese restaurant, I thought what a great idea it would be to take a few pics inside at home. So here’s me a few glasses of wine later…!
Sometimes you just gotta be a goofball, right? Well, that was me last night lol! We had a lovely meal, just the two of us, and I was in high spirits after completing the first draft of of my next book (my 11th book!). It was kind of a little celebration before the hard work – the editing – begins next week.
Anyway, I had wanted to mention my Massimo Dutti dress, hadn’t I? I bought it just before Christmas. It’s so cute – not that you can really see in these photos because I forgot to take off my leather jacket! I guess you could say it’s a wool shift dress, mid-length arms, above the knee dress with a roll neck. I absolutely love it, especially with black tights and boots and a black leather jacket. Last week I wore it with blue tights and a denim jacket.
Needless to say the jacket is also Massimo Dutti lol!
Happy Easter everyone! Have some downtime and chill out, and don’t be afraid to be a goofball like me 😉
(Oh and here’s a few others with my beautiful Luna…)

Hi Suzy, what a pleasure to meet you!! Thank you for your kind comment on Jess’ blog, Elegantly Dressed and Stylish, I really appreciate it. I was chuckling when I read this post because I could see myself forgetting to take off my jacket (actually I’ve done it a couple of times). Was all pumped to take these fabulous pics and, well, they ended up not being quite what I expected but I couldn’t start all over again – it’s exhausting lol. Thank you for visiting/following my blog as well. I look forward to reading your posts. Have a great weekend. Steph

So wonderful to have met you, Suzy! Such fun photos with your sweet dog and I really like the neutral look. Now you are seriously tempting me to cut all of my hair off again after I finally started growing it out… Fabulous pixie!

Ditto JL! It’s always lovely to meet fellow style bloggers 😀
I first had a pixie four years ago. I loved it but then missed my longer locks so I grew it long again. Then I watched the second Divergent movie (Insurgent?) and there’s this scene where the main girl lops off all her hair and I just LOVED the way it looked and I knew I had to go back to a pixie again lol! I’d love to know what you decide 😀
