Don’t you just love it when you unexpectedly stumble across an item in a shop and fall in love with it in the changing room? That’s exactly what happened with this blue floaty blouse. I wasn’t even intending to buy anything other than the black vest top I’d gone in to H&M for, but I can rarely resist a sale rack!

Anyway, out popped this beautifully soft blue floaty blouse with white stripes. It’s not something I would ordinarily gravitate towards but it was the feel of it that grabbed me. It’s so soft and almost silky to the touch that I just had to try it. Reduced from 19.99 euros to just 9.99, it was a real bargain too. Needless to say, I’m delighted with it. I wore it the very same evening to go out to our friends place for dinner and felt so good in it.
Blue and silver sandals
I’m also wearing some new sandals lol. Remember last week I mentioned that I might pop into that shoe shop next to Jyske? Well I did and I think I tried on every pair of sandals in the shop! Struggling to find anything I really liked, moments before I gave up I spotted this blue and silver pair. Now, bearing in mind I was looking for flat black sandals, I left with these lol. They are super comfy so I just had to have them. They’re cute, right? They were 29.99 euros, which I think is a really good price considering that they seem particularly high quality. And the flat black sandals? Well…. I’m still looking 😉

Did you notice my blue necklace? It’s real stone (I can’t remember exactly what stone it is though) and was one of my many Christmas gifts from my mother-in-law. Isn’t it gorgeous? Unfortunately we completely forgot to take a close up picture of it, but next time! I’ll be wearing it a lot 🙂
I’ve had the sparkly silver handbag years (it was a gift from a lovely old friend), and the stunning ring was inherited from my late step-mother-in-law.
Must go now, we’ve got friends coming over to our place for a bbq again tonight! Hubby’s prepared some homemade chicken burgers (which are absolutely divine) and ribs while I’ll be doing Portuguese tomato rice which is a favourite of mine. I’ve also made a yummy mint chocolate cheesecake which I LOVE. One of these days I’ll share my recipe with you <3
