In my last post, I talked about the multi-coloured tee I bought whilst shopping with a friend I hadn’t seen for years. Today, I’m wearing the blue linen shirt I bought during the same shopping spree. I loved this from the second I saw it. Linen is so comfortable to wear during the warmer months, but it was the colour that appealed to me more than anything else. That probably has something to do with the fact that my new car is a similar shade of blue. Although the colour of my car is way more gorgeous lol! It’s really weird, actually. In photos, it’s very blue, but in real life, the car is actually more of a greeny-blue, and in different lights, the colour appears different too. It’s just beautiful! The official name for the colour of my car is Bikini Blue. Cool, huh?
And I’m delighted to say that, FINALLY, we have the new plates YAY! I’ve been waiting for the matriculation process for ages so I’m off out for a drive this morning….at last! But this post isn’t meant to be about my car, it’s meant to be about my blue linen shirt. I got it in Zara and I do believe it’s currently available in the sale. It’s also available in other colours too, including pink and green. I’m very tempted to buy them both lol. But we’ll see. Oh, I just looked on the site and I guess pink is no longer available, but it’s there in bright green and light khaki, as well as this blue one.
On this occasion, I’m wearing the shirt with black shorts (Green Lamb) and my favourite black sandals from Timberland, as well as a handbag to match, which came from Desigual. Again, like many of my looks, it’s a very simple outfit. One which looks good on most body shapes and all ages. So, if you’re after a linen shirt or two, I highly recommend this one. The quality is lovely.
