I love mixing casual pieces with more dressy elements. For example, last week we went out for dinner with friends so I dressed up my new, grey H&M jumper with heels and a clutch, a statement necklace and ear-rings (both of which I’ve had for years), not to mention the simple black leggings from Stradivarius. It’s such an easy outfit to put together yet looks stylish at the same time. You could easily wear boots with it too. A few days later I wore the jumper with skinny jeans and Converse for lunch with a pal.
I bought the sweater last week in the mid-season sale for just 10 euros. I loved that one side has a zip and the other doesn’t – I’m normally quite anal about things having to be symmetrical so when I wear it, I feel like I’m actually overcoming my OCD! Yay!
I do love to add a little flash of animal print and this Ted Baker clutch is a favourite of mine – as Michael bought it for me on my 40th birthday last December. Isn’t it gorgeous?!
