Fab40s: this month’s theme is all about the cold-hearted snake

The Fab40s are back again, and this month it’s all about the cold-hearted snake. Okay, perhaps not literally about the cold-hearted snake lol. It’s about snake print. When I first found out the theme was snake print, I cringed. This is probably my least favourite print! What on earth was I going to wear? How could I possibly incorporate this print into my outfit?

Snake print cardigan

Well, it turns out, I could easily incorporate snake print into my outfit because I already owned this cardigan! I’d forgotten all about it, and I headed over to the Aqua shopping centre to find something to wear. I struggled. There was absolutely nothing available. The only thing I could find was a little belt with a tiny amount of snake print on it (which I didn’t get). Then I suddenly remembered this cardigan at home! DOH!

I wore it as a top with all the buttons done up and added my new favourite pair of trousers from Massimo Dutti, which I bought in the summer sale. I loved them so much that I bought two pairs lol. This pair in grey, and another in khaki. They fit so well, it’s like they were made for me. Aren’t they fab? I do love wide-legged trousers.

But back to this cold-hearted snake print cardigan. I’ve had it a few years and don’t wear it often (because of the print lol). But I like the shape of the cardigan so much that I’ve got about six of them in different colours (black, grey, red, khaki, orange and snake print). I wear the others quite a lot.

Hush Puppies

My shoes are also quite old, they’re Hush Puppies but I can’t actually remember where I bought them from! They’re super comfortable and I love their style because they’re… yes, you’ve guessed it…witchy lol! You know me so well if you figured that one out! I do love everything witchy.

This pretty necklace (and matching earrings) and handbag with snake print down the side were both gifts from my wonderful mother-in-law. So, there you have it. My cold-hearted snake look for this month’s Fab40s! Not my favourite look so far but fun all the same! Now, let’s see how the other gals styled this snake print look…

Daenel, Living Outside the Stacks

Poor Daenel (who chose this month’s theme) had ordered some fabulous snake print boots, and they didn’t arrive in time! What a shame! However, she still created an outfit that is fabulous! I must admit, even though I’m not a fan of the print, I love those cute ballerina pumps!

And me… What on earth was I doing ??!

See ya soon!
