I usually wear skinny jeans with dresses, but since wide-legged, loose-fitting, mom, boyfriend and baggy jeans seem to be all the rage these days, I figured I would show you that you can actually wear all of the above jeans with dresses and still look great. Here, I’m wearing a little black dress and baggy jeans. Can we call them baggy jeans? Or is that too old-fashioned for the youngsters these days? Like I care lol.
I bought these baggy jeans a couple of weeks ago from Modalfa (that’s the clothing side of the Continente Supermarket). There were only a few pairs left because they were in the sale at just 9.99! I love how loose-fitting they are. They also have an open detail at the bottom which is a bit different I suppose. Oh, and they’re super comfy too, which is always a bonus!
I love this dress, the fact that it’s loose fitting and has pockets makes it the perfect LBD in my eyes. It’s from H&M. I’m not sure if they have them in stock at the moment, but they’re usually with all their basics, like the cardigans and plain t-shirts. I’d love to buy one in red. I shall have to keep my eyes peeled for one!
My rose gold sandals are from Aldo and are great for the hot weather. Unfortunately, because they’re so flat, they’re not terribly comfortable! But they look cute though lol. I’m using my newest handbag with the outfit, which I bought from Parfois last week. I was on the look out for a black one but when I saw this, and noticed the fabulous thick strap (always my preference) and couldn’t resist it. Especially considering it was also only 9.99 in the sale! It’s cute, isn’t it?
I finished off my little black dress and baggy jeans outfit with some gold jewellery—a multi-strand simple gold chain (from MIL) and a longer necklace that I bought from Primark years ago, as well as a couple of gold bracelets and a gold ring (also gifts from MIL). And new earrings from Bijou Brigitte. I’ll definitely be wearing this outfit again. I love the baggy jeans with the dress. What about you? Is is something you would wear?
