The perfect summer evening outfit

I bought these wide-legged printed trousers last year from Bershka. I just loved their ethnic vibe the second I laid eyes on them. Plus they’e a bit different from my usual jeans, so it makes a nice change! They’re also perfect for the warmer weather as the fabric is quite thin. I really think that this is the perfect summer evening outfit.

I wore them for an evening out to a friend’s house for dinner (a yummy bbq) last weekend and my new nude flat sandals were the perfect comfortable choice (and they go with just about everything) to go with them.

The trousers definitely need something simple on top and this black halter neck was the perfect choice – not too simple but with a hint of drama (showing off my yoga tattoo) with the open back. I’ve had it for years, I can’t even remember where I bought it from. But it’s such a useful wardrobe staple to have.

My brown suede ‘bangle’ is a favourite of mine – made by a woman who used to live here in the Algarve but sadly no longer makes these wrap bracelets.

The look was completed with my gorgeous suede handbag from Massimo Dutti, which I purchased in the sale earlier this year. I thought the fringing added just the right amount of je ne sais quoi!

It was the perfect summer evening outfit – although I must admit that I was a little chilly because the heat is taking it’s time to arrive in the Algarve this year!
