Out for a coffee in my local town of Portimão

I had this post scheduled for 14th May. Unfortunately, for whatever reason I cannot quite fathom, my WordPress Scheduler doesn’t seem to be working! So, here it is… a few weeks later than originally planned!

Portimão

I haven’t been feeling well for the past week or so. Unfortunately, I was hit with a really weird bug which left me with aches and pains and not wanting to do much. Needless to say, I didn’t really feel like going out or getting dressed up, so today I’m sharing with you a simple look that I wore for an easy coffee morning out in my local town of Portimão.

Portimão is just a fifteen minutes drive from where we live. It’s on the coast and used to be a thriving town with a great ‘high street’. Sadly, with the arrival of numerous shopping centres to the town’s outskirts, the centre of town isn’t quite as bustling as it used to be.

There is, however, a lovely riverside with a few coffee shops and restaurants that we like to visit on the occasional Sunday. Because of my feeling rundown, we decided just to pop out for a coffee to the local naval club cafe. It’s one of those places that’s buzzing on a Sunday morning with kids having sailing lessons and their parents jostling for a table next to the water to watch.

After our coffee, we had a short amble down the Portimão riverside and took a few photos of my outfit. An outfit I wore purely for it’s comfort, I might add! I’ve talked about these Massimo Dutti jeans before, because they are (without doubt) the most comfortable pair of jeans I’ve ever owned. The denim fabric is super soft and the way they sit on the hips is simply heaven. A bit like my heavenly pair of Calla shoes I told you about a couple of weeks ago! I’m still so delighted with them, I can’t stop wearing them 🙂

PortimãoSpeaking of comfortable, I chose to use my Baggallini handbag too. You might remember that I used it whilst on holiday last winter and absolutely fell in love with it. It’s such a comfortable handbag and so practical too. AND it goes well with my red glasses lol! Not to mention my necklace.

PortimãoWhen going for comfort, practicality and simple style, there’s nothing better than jeans, a white tee and a pair of converse is there? Finish it all off with a printed cardigan et voila. Or you could finish it off with a blazer like I did last year, of course.

Portimão

PortimãoI am starting to feel better so I’ll be back with something a bit more stylish soon. Have a great week, my fabulous friends. In the meantime, I’ll leave you with this pink bottom…..lol
