Dressing like a princess (according to hubby, anyway!)

Hubby was so sweet the other day. When he saw me in this outfit, he said I look just like a princess! Sadly, I do not feel like a princess at the moment though. I spent all of yesterday with a vomiting and diarrhoea bug, along with a nasty fever. Today, I feel like I’ve been hit by a bus but I’m slowly starting to feel better, thankfully.

Cuddles with cats and dog

I’ve been having lots of cuddles with the cats and dog, who seem to know mummy’s not feeling so good. They’re just adorable. And they were adorable last week too when I was wearing my princess outfit. They clearly liked my floaty, princess skirt lol!

I feel pretty

I don’t often wear light colours – not all in one outfit, anyway. But I did feel pretty in this ensemble, like a princess I guess lol. I bought the skirt last year from Calzedonia and the pale pink vest top is from H&M. You might remember the post I wrote recently about how I love H&M’s ‘Conscious’ vests? Well, after writing that, I finally went online and ordered three more. One in pink, one in blue and the third in grey – all pale colours. I just love them, they’re so comfy and only cost about 5 euros each. Actually, the pale pink one was on sale for 2.99 at the time. Bargain!

My sandals are from Aldo (I wore them in this post a couple of weeks ago, and you may recall how frustrated I get in that store!), my handbag is from Secret Sales and my newest item is this gorgeous white necklace which was a gift from my fabulous pal Sarah and her lovely mum, Ann. It’s so pretty and goes perfectly with my outfit.

And because my outfit was so super girlie, I decided to go full-on pink makeup too! So, not only am I wearing pink eye lipstick, but also pink eye shadow lol! Please excuse the hair – it’s in that really awful messy in-between, growing out stage! And my stylist is so busy at the moment, she can’t fit me in until the end of the month!!
