Feeling happy and confident in an all white outfit

There are days when you just feel good, right? Days when things just come together exactly as they should. Days when your outfit just gives you a confidence boost. Well, this is how I felt last week when I put together this (mostly) all white outfit.

An all white outfit (almost)

I hadn’t intended to wear an all white outfit at all. I knew I wanted to wear my new Quebramar trousers but didn’t even consider a white vest top until I tried on a few other tops that just didn’t feel quite ‘right’. Then I spotted my white vest in the back of the wardrobe and grabbed it. The second I put it on, I just felt right. Or should I say, I just felt white? 😉

Confidence boosting clothes

Isn’t it funny how certain outfits on certain days just make you feel good? I’m sure if I put this on next week, I won’t feel right but one of the other tops will make me feel even better. I do love (and sometimes hate!) how clothes can make me feel. Many a time I will feel fat, frumpy or just plain ugly in an outfit but a few months later the same outfit will leave me feeling like a million dollars. Weird, huh? I put it down to hormones lol!

Last year I blogged about another outfit that had this same confidence boosting effect. (Not that it only happens once a year lol.) I only just noticed I’m wearing the same necklace in both posts. And it’s a necklace I hardly ever wear. I wonder if it has some magical, confidence-wielding component to it?! It was only a cheap necklace from Primark lol.

Black tassels

Speaking of Primark, this black tasseled cardie came from there last year too. I actually got it from the beachwear section. I think it’s supposed to be a bikini cover up but I wouldn’t like to wear black on the beach over here – it’s way too hot. A black bikini is ok but not a cover up.

Quebramar

Back to the trousers though. I bought them, completely spur of the moment, last week whilst out shopping with hubby. He’s a big fan of Quebramar and wanted to check out the sales. So we popped in, thinking we’d probably just buy him a polo shirt. We walked out with shorts and a top for him and these fab trousers for me! They were such a good price (I can’t remember exactly but around 20 euros I think) and they fit perfectly. I completely fell in love with them. The vest top also happened to come from Quebramar last year too. I do love the quality of their vest tops.

I’ve worn the shoes loads of times on the blog before but I can never resist showing them to you again because they’re just GORGEOUS. Not only that but they’re probably the most comfortable pair of summer shoes that I’ve ever had. Can you tell I love them? I got them from Guimaraes late last year. And they’ve still got them in stock… in the sales no less!

I’ve also featured this handbag on the blog before too. I bought it from Secret Sales. And although I love it, it’s a tad tight on space! I could do with it being twice the size. I might have to look for another one in the same colour 😉
