I’m sure most readers will be fully aware of my obsession love for all things khaki (see here, here and here, for example). I just can’t get enough of it. When I find a colour I love, one of my favourite ways of wearing it, is to wear several different shades of it – hence the fifty shades of khaki 😉
Fifty shades of khaki

If I’d owned a pair of khaki jeans, I would most definitely have worn them with this fifty shades of khaki outfit. The khaki shirt I bought from Primark a couple of years ago; the khaki sweater I bought from H&M last week and I got my khaki boots about five years ago from Seaside (not to mention the khaki undies and vest top lol!).

Oh and my khaki handbag too lol. A very cheap cotton bag I found in a Chinese shop over a decade ago but it’s one I absolutely love. It’s a very comfortable handbag, if you know what I mean.

But back to the khaki sweater. In November I bought the same sweater in a light grey (my other favourite staple which I have tonnes of in my wardrobe) and then a few weeks ago I spotted the same jumper in the most gorgeous shade of pink. I didn’t buy it immediately but I new I had to have it. So I toddled back to Aqua a few days later and discovered they didn’t have my size. I checked online and I couldn’t even find it on the H&M website.

So, I drove down to Algarve Shopping (another shopping centre about half an hour away) and bought the last one in XS. I was delighted! That evening we were going out to our friends place for dinner so I put it on with my wide-legged wool trousers, only to find the jumper had a very visible pull in it. Major bummer 🙁
So the next day, off I went back to H&M in Aqua to swap it for something else. What I chose was the very same jumper in khaki lol (I’m so predictable sometimes!). Actually, when I got it home and put it on, Michael and I decided it suits me better than the pink anyway!

We were lucky, Andrea – it was lovely blue skies and sunshine when we took those pictures, but it’s gone quite chilly now though!
Thanks Gorgeous!

Khaki always looks so modern and fashionable – great as a neutral too. Unfortunately it doesn’t suit me as a colour, though looks great on you!

The khaki was meant to be! I’m sure you look great in pink too though. Khaki/olive tones go with so many other colours. Thanks for linking up 🙂

Thanks Emma! I do love a hint of pink as well and it does go well with khaki which certainly is a very versatile colour.
