The perfect location for a photo shoot

cardie-and-bootsThis is the perfect location for a photo shoot. I’ve had my eye on it for years (basically I want to buy it and build a beautiful house there!). It’s just around the corner from where I live so I just knew I had to check it out… there’s an old ruin, with fabulous pillars, ‘twisted’ bricks, some really cool and creepy roots crawling all over the place and an old swimming pool (you’ll definitely see more of it in future posts). Hubby and I had such fun doing this shoot. We had such a giggle because we parked down a nearby dirt track and there were clothes (including stockings – ok, so they were actually pop socks!!) all over the dashboard. A local shepherd and his flock of goats wandered by while we were taking pictures. I’m sure he’s told all of the locals about the crazy English couple getting up to no good! 😉

I chose my snuggly new Bershka cardigan to wear over one of my favourite fabrics: lace. I just love it. I wish I had more of it. I’d wear it with everything! On that day however, I paired this pretty lace cream top (from Bershka) with skinny jeans from H&M and my gorgeous Massimo Dutti suede boots. I loved the outfit so much that I wore it out to a local restaurant that night – unfortunately I forgot my camera (shock horror… a blogger who forgets her camera!! I know, I know) so can’t write about it until our next visit. But it will be soon because the food is wonderful 🙂

That really is an excellent place for a photoshoot – I love gorgeous ruined buildings like that 🙂 And the outfit is lovely too, especially the boots, they just add that something extra to the outfit.

What a great place for photos! I have a place similar in my area, you’ve inspired me to take some photos there! Also, love that cardigan! Going to come in very handy with winter approaching. xx http://www.celebratingthislife.ca
